The new DECO chair we believe is born to be a classic of contemporary design, reminiscent of Déco art but also with details of the most current design. With a seat with a rounded and cushioned aesthetic that envelops the user, typical of that time, we added a foot support that also surround the seat with solid wood and clean organic forms, to achieve an harmonious set of shapes and textures.
The proposal, from the young designer from Barcelona born in Cadiz Pablo Santos, gratified us enormously, as he understood us perfectly from the outset and very clearly understood our need to incorporate into the Thelos collection a chair that transmit a permanent dialogue with the aesthetics of Art Déco, Catalan modernism and European decorative classicism, and to achieve it in a unique piece, full of uniqueness and character. In short, a European today design, in fusion with the golden times of the most innovative European decoration.
The production of the DECÓ goes through a careful process of elaboration of the padded seat and reinforced to upholstery with natural and contemporary fabrics, and to give a clear modern and design air. The structure of the feet is in solid wood, made in individual pieces worked in organic forms and complex joints, to finally get an original finished piece that supports the seat in an harmonious and safe sensation.
Different shades of upholstery fabric and two shades of natural leather are available. The finishes of the wood are in natural Walnut wood, Ash stained in Oak and Ash stained in black. The varnish is water-based to maintain the texture of the wood without any artificial or synthetic layers and to achieve a smooth and natural touch.
Ideal for private dining rooms, restaurants and hotels, the DECÓ chair harmonizes with the most contemporary interior designs and also with those that maintain a classic and elegant touch. The DECÓ chair is a pleasure for the senses.
